JOHN MILES
President/Broker
John founded Miles Realty Group, Inc. in November 2006 as President/Broker of the organization.  John brings 16 years of property and construction management to Miles Realty Group. He founded Miles Realty Group to serve residential and commercial real estate clients in Lake, McHenry and Cook County, while specializing in residential and residential waterfront properties. As a new company, Miles looks to build a team focused on serving clients in a professional and ethical manner so that their real estate needs and expectations are met based on parameters set through the company's mission statement. 
 
John earned his Master of Business Administration from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri in 1998.   In 1994, he graduated from Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois with a BS in Business Administration .  Over the last 16 years John's career has spanned various roles with property management and construction companies in the Chicagoland area.  His roles over his tenure include Vice President of Operations for GolfVisions, where he is the liaison for the company's managed and leased properties, as well as being responsible for golf course operational/maintenance reviews, inventory controls, cash controls, website development and oversight, marketing programs, customer surveys, point-of-sale contact, customer flows, golf program development, restaurant controls and maximization of the company's managed and leased properties revenue in excess of $8.0 million.  John also serves in the capacity as General Manager of Foxford Hills Golf Club where he oversees the daily management, maintenance and marketing activities of the golf operation that has revenues that exceed $1.7 million annually. Previous to this he has served in the capacity of Director of Business Development for GolfVisions where he assisted the company in growing its business to $10 to $15 million annually, prepared operational and development budgets to outside ventures and inner-company interests, prepare feasibility and risk assessment studies for clients and devloped a visionary program to increase management and leasing opportunities for the company.  Prior to that he worked for Crown Golf Properties/Crown Golf Construction as a Business Development Associate where he analyzed operations of golf properties nationwide to evaluate acquisition and management opportunities, prepared RFP responses, coordinated trade shows, and assisted chief estimator and vice president of field services in assessing various golf facility construction projects exceeding $25 million annually.John began his career with GreenVisions, a golf management and construction company where he prepared feasibility and risk assessment studies, RFP responses for golf course management and leasing opportunities for management's use.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
JENNIFER MILES
Realtor
Jennifer joined Miles Realty Group, Inc. in November 2006 as a Realtor.  Jennifer brings a great work ethic to our team and is dedicated to serving clients with outstanding professional service.  Her professionalism as a Realtor is based on a strong work ethic in business over the last seventeen years in the business world.  Jennifer is a 1992 graduate of New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico.  She has a B.A. in Communication Studies and a Minor in Business Administration.  Over the last 17 years Jennifer's career has spanned various roles with property management, landscaping and construction companies in the Chicagoland area.  Her roles at these companies included Payroll Manager for ILT Vignocchi where she processed payroll for 180 employees weekly, oversaw payroll and human resource issues while assisting with the preparation of the company's budget. As a Senior Construction Accountant with Rose Construction Services she was responsible for the preparartion of AIA documents for owners and title companies, performed all accounts payable and disbursements to vendors, updated daily cash reports for the owner, reconciled General Ledger for month-end closings, assisted project managers with billings to clients and title companies and maintained working relationships with owners. As a Construction Accountant with Crown Golf Properties she prepared AIA documents for distribution to clients, verified and approved accounts payables for payment, performed monthly closing General Ledger procedures for 26 construction projects, created budgets for jobs and cost to complete analysis and input payroll information based on job costs associated with each construction project.  Starting out her career, Jennifer learned the property management business as a Bookkeeper/Personal Assistant with Nordic Properties where she posted accounts receivables receipts and rents, entered and disbursed accounts payables, and reconciled the general ledger on a monthly basis.  Over the course of her tenure in these roles, she has assisted these various companies with the direct oversight of their management and construction portfolios exceeding $200 million.  Her experience speaks volumes to the dedication she brings to clients in the real estate business.
